We’re Living in Trujillo!
After an 10 hour bus ride we arrived from Lima to Trujillo, our home for the next two weeks. The bus was first class all the way with movies, served meals, and luxurious reclining chairs. We rode north, up the Peruvian coast between the beach and the mountains. Our families were waiting to greet us at the bus station upon arrival.
The next morning we arrived to the school we will be visiting and making new friends in for the next two weeks. They gave us a warm welcome and had lots of questions for us on the patio when we arrived.
We were able to attend Peruvian classes for the morning and share in a workshop comparing and contrasting our educational systems.
