Left behind Relics of a time long ago
Left to watch the Yi River flow
Set in stone and preserved through time
These Buddhist statues carved from lime
Resting Between the peaks of Xiang and Longmen
A peaceful setting that inspires inner zen
With hundreds of people passing me by
All cherishing these relics as they slowly erode and die.
