Sunset Picnics in Spain (ESL group 1)

Our time in Guadix is coming to a close with just one more night in town. Last night we gathered with our families from the highest point of the town to enjoy some Spanish snacks and watch the sun slip behind the mountains.

Our group from the “mirador.”

The chocolate cupcakes were there first thing to disappear from our spread.

Kevon is serving himself some traditional “tortilla espaƱola” in this photo. The eternal debate among Spaniards is whether this dish should be made with or without onion. (The correct answer is “with,” obviously.)

When the sun goes down, the city starts to glow with uplit buildings and historic street lamps ablaze. Guadix is gorgeous and we are so lucky to have gotten to call this place home for the past week and a half.
