Our first days in Spain have been magical. We learned the layout of central Madrid, had a passionate discussion about modern vs. classical art, and discovered our collective passion for melocotón (peach) juice! The coolest part about all of it was that we learned all of these things by living them. Our leaders asked us to lead the group back to the hotel. It was visiting the Prado and Reina Sofia art museums that sparked our debate. It was ordering for ourselves that taught us the word melocoton, and now we’ll never forget it. We can’t wait for our next adventure!
