Gotta Catch ‘Em All: Ikebukuro!
My favorite place in Tokyo so far is Ikebukuro. We visited the famous Pokemon center along with J World. The pokemon center was packed with thousands of pokemon plush toys and other merchandise. There were shelves packed with special Japanese pokemon packs and you could even buy exclusive pokemon for the 3DS game “Ultra Sun” and “Ultra Moon”. I ended up buying some chopsticks with pokemon on it and a Team Valor towel.
J world was also a blast. I didn’t get to spend much time in it unfortunately, but I had a great time while I was there. Some of the highlights were walking around and taking pictures, eating special foods from the animes Haikyuu and Naruto, and hanging out with my friends. My favorite food was a Haikyuu smoothie with jello, strawberries and whipped cream. I can’t wait to go back sometime.
