We finally made it! We made it through customs and started our adventure. The hotel is awesome and right in the middle of the city. Our leaders had us navigate our way to our first activity as a group….now that was interesting! We got lost, but we made it. We met our Spanish leaders. Arturo, “El mejor Granadino,” is the best!! We went to the Palacio Real and el Prado. We went into the market and shopped for food with our group. We also can’t forget “la Copa Mundial” We watched the Colombia vs. England World Cup game! That was awesome. Soon, we’ll be meeting our host families. We’re a little nervous….but WE ARE READY!!
