OUR FIRST DAYS IN MOROCCO

After a delayed flight, we hit the ground running! We learned from experts about health and safety in Morocco, as well as the history of Moroccan fashion and clothing. Students even got to model looks from different regions and decades!

We’ve had our first Arabic lessons, which included lessons on numbers and how to bargain! This clearly payed off as during our visit to the Rabat souk, students bought each other presents for less than 20 Dirham (around 2 dollars)!! Landon bargained for a beautiful  necklace with a silver pendant, and Mariam got two baseball caps for 10 dirham!

We also have been diving into Moroccan food. We’ve had our first tagines, and will spend Friday  lunch eating couscous with local Rabat families!

Well have many more updates to come as we head to Marrakech this weekend!

All the best,

Perry
